PHOTO MONTAGE FAQs
What is a Photo Montage?
Supply us with virtually any type of print photo, and we can create a video that you will be proud of! Each photo will appear on your TV screen for approximately 5 seconds while your choice of music plays in the background. Each photo will fade, or transition, from one to another. Your family will love you for turning grandma's old picture collections into a video masterpiece! CLICK HERE to view a sample.
Can I select music for my video?
You may select your music from our music library or provide your own on CD (including MP3 or WMA format). We suggest one song per 40-50 photos.
Can my video be personalized?
In addition to choosing your background music, we also offer both custom opening and closing titles. Our advanced digital editing system offers many different types of special titles. Titles may be superimposed over any photo or background to introduce the various sections of your video. We can even create movie-style scrolling titles or credits that can appear either at the beginning or end of your video! From flashy to elegant, we have the right one for your video!
What size photos will work?
Any sized photos up to 8"x10" will work. Keep in mind that photos taken vertically will not fit proportionally on a TV screen and will have black bars on each side of the photo - horizontally taken photos work best. Also, please note that close-up photos will look better on your video.
Can I add my home video to this project?
Absolutely! Nothing will compliment your video more than adding home movies of yesteryear! We can transfer many different types of video tape including: VHS, VHS-C, DVD (non-copy protected), 8mm, Hi8 mm, and Mini-DV. We recommend that clips be contained to five minutes in length.
Can I get video put on DVD?
Yes! Our state-of-the-art, industry-standard equipment allows for any type of production to be placed onto DVD. We also have the capability to create customized menus and graphics especially for your video!
Why is DVD better than VHS?
When placing projects such as photos to video onto DVD, there is virtually zero signal loss because of the digital to digital transfer from the computer workstation to the disc itself. Meaning, there is virtually no loss of picture, sound, or any hint of hiss, grain, or static in the final product. When a project is placed onto VHS, the signal is no longer digital and signal loss becomes apparent.
What is the approximate turn-around time for my order?
Your photos to video order will be completed within 14 working days after we receive all materials and all required payments have been made.
My Event is in two days and I am planning to play the photo montage. Can you help me?
Yes! We understand that there are times when you may think of an added feature for your event at the last minute. In most cases we can help. There is a $75 rush charge when completion is required in less that 14 days.
